Asphalt has been used for many purposes through the ages, ever since the Babylonians paved the first road between 625 and 604 BC. It’s a natural choice not only for roads, but also for driveways, parking lots, airport runways, bike paths, racetracks, tennis courts, and any place where a smooth, durable surface is needed. Asphalt is also used for lining drinking water reservoirs, waterproofing basements and sealing rooftops. Today the Hudson Companies are one of the largest providers of Bituminous Liquid Asphalt.

Performance Grade (PG) Asphalts that go the distance.

Today, Hudson performance graded asphalt meets exacting specifications from AASHTO, performing to Superpave standards for federal and state projects throughout New England.

The certified PG asphalts meet specs for expected performance under actual climate and traffic conditions. Each product delivery is based on the binder’s mechanical performance at critical temperatures and aging conditions. Available at our terminal at all times are:
